Check out these first look images of Jamie Foxx in his new film, “Sleepless.”
According to BlackFilm.com, the crime thriller is based on the the French film “Nuit Blanche” and features Foxx as Vincent Downs, an undercover Las Vegas cop who must rescue his teenage son from a group of homicidal gangsters. Tip “T.I.” Harris stars as Downs’ partner and Michelle Monaghan plays an internal affairs agent investigating Downs.
Rounding out the cast is Gabrielle Union, Durmont Mulroney, Scoot McNairy, and David Harbour. “Sleepless” is directed by Baran Bo Odar with a script written by Andrea Berloff.
It also appears that “Sleepless” was shot in Atlanta. The building featured in the images are the loading docks of the former Atlanta Journal-Constitution building. I worked their when I first moved to Atlanta in 1998 and know that structure pretty well. It is now property of Georgia State University.
“Sleepless” opens nationwide in theaters on February 24, 2017.
