Check out the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul Mary J. Blige as the “Queen of Mean” for NBC’s upcoming special of The Wiz Live! Vanity Fair released the exclusive photo of the Grammy winning-superstar as a sexier version of Oz’s most feared villain, Evillene the Wicked Witch of the West.
Also take a peek at other photos released this week of ‘Wiz’ cast members—Amber Riley as ‘Adapperle the Witch of the North,’ Stephanie Mills as ‘Aunt Em,’ Common as ‘The Royal Gatekeeper,’ Uzo Aduba as ‘Glinda the Witch of the South’ and Queen Latifah as ‘The Wiz.’
As previously reported, Ne-Yo is starring as the ‘Tin Man,’ David Alan Grier is the ‘Cowardly Lion,’ Elijah Kelley is the ‘Scarecrow’ and newcomer Shanice Williams is ‘Dorothy.’
