Hip-hop icon Snoop Dogg was in Atlanta Monday evening for a private screening of his upcoming ESPN series, “Snoop & Son: A Dad’s Dream.” The invite only event took place at the new College Football Hall of Fame located in the museum district of the city. Atlanta celebrities in attendance included music mogul, Jermaine Dupri; DJs Drama and Don Cannon; Dugeon Family member, Sleepy Brown; and rapper/reality star Young Joc. After the screening, Snoop took part in a Q&A session with the audience.
According to Indie Wire , “Snoop & Son: A Dad’s Dream” will focus on the rapper’s journey with his football star son, Cordell Broadus. He is reportedly one of the most sought after recruits in the nation and is already being courted by Notre Dame and USC. Viewers will also get a chance to see Snoop as he balances his life on the road along with the demands of being a devoted father and husband.
Rory Karpf, executive producer, said, “People will see a very different side of Snoop. They’ll see a man navigating the line between father and friend. They’ll see someone whose interest in his son’s life reflects what he himself never had. Above all, they’ll see a father extraordinarily proud of his son.”
