SHEEN Magazine recently hosted its inaugural two-day celebration in salute of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, October 16-17, 2014 in Los Angeles, CA. The premise of these events is to celebrate life, purpose and survival of the countless number of amazing women suffering from Breast Cancer. The publication is on a mission to energize these women passion for life with an evening of entertainment and celebrity influence. SHEEN Magazine is committed to speak life into our sisters and brothers; for breast cancer not only affects women but men as well.
SHEEN with Sisters Breast Cancer Survival Network and Models
With the participation from actors Redriac Williams, Jonathan McDaniel, Lester Speight, Mykel Shannon Jenkins to name a few this two-day experience was one to never forget. The Celebration started on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 7pm with a Private Dinner Date Night with a surprise celebrity guest hosted by VH1’s Hit the Floor star Jonathan McDaniel and friends for 6 Breast Cancer Survivors. Plus, they received special gifts provided by Crème of Nature Hair Care Products.
“Go Bare Chest” Models
The festivities continued on Friday evening, October 17, 2014 on the red carpet for the main event Men In Hollywood… Go Bare Chest for Breast Cancer at Club Rain, 12215 Ventura Blvd. Studio City, California. 12+ Men in Hollywood strutted down the runway bare chest in honor of the countless number of women who have lost their breast to the deadly disease, currently in treatment and are viable survivors. A portion of the proceeds from the event was donated to the Sisters Breast Cancer Survivors Network of Los Angeles
