Last month, we reported that T.I. appeared in a photo with comedic actors Kevin Hart and Will Ferrell, insinuating that the three of them were starring in an untitled film together. Today, the “King of the South,” has officially announced his involvement with the project, which is titled Get Hard.
According to the press release, T.I. aka Tip will star as Hart’s street savvy cousin, Joaquin, in the new Warner Bros. comedy. This is T.I.’s sixth film, making his acting debut in 2006 in film ATL and then starring in American Gangsta in 2007 and Takers in 2010.
He’s also starred in a few acclaimed television series including his season long role on the Showtime’s House Of Lies (alongside Don Cheadle) and last year’s season-long guest run on the Starz’ Boss (with Kelsey Grammer).
T.I. is also the star of his hit VH-1 reality show T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle.
