RHOA Porsha Stewart stopped by The Wendy Williams Show on Monday to discuss the latest on her divorce from former NFL star Kordell Stewart. When I tell you Wendy wasted no time going in on Stewart, calling her behavior “less than smart” and criticizing her for moving back home with her mother. Wendy went on to say that part of Stewart’s problem is the fact that she has been “coddled and spoiled” (yes, like a baby) by both her mother and Kordell and needs to experience living on her own as a single woman.
“Your behavior is less than smart! You are a gorgeous woman who has the world at your feet. You have no children which is a plus in this particular situation because it makes for that five year thing (that was called a marriage) that will be over. But I think you should live on your own. It seems like you have been ‘coddled and spoiled’ by your mother and by Kordell and that never helps us as women when we get out in the world.”
For many fans of the show, Wendy’s comment came across as abrasive and downright rude. To others, she was just being Wendy and was giving Stewart some real sound advice. The interview continues with Porsha explaining why she is going to keep the last name Stewart. She also claims that her divorce has nothing to do with the “alleged rumor” that Kordell is gay or living on the down low. “To be very frank with you, the break-up had to do with my treatment I received as a wife,” says Stewart.
