R&B crooner Jaheim and powerhouse vocalist Chrisette Michele are hitting the road this fall for the “Appreciation Tour.” Atlantic Records announced the tour this week which opens on November 14 at the Aronoff Center: P&G in Cincinnati, Ohio and includes stops in Chicago, Detroit, Washington DC, Atlanta, Houston and New Orleans.
The “Appreciation Tour” comes off the heels of Jaheim’s latest release, Appreciation Day, which serves as the singer’s way of saying, “thank you” to his numerous fans and supporters.
“It’s been so long since I’ve had a chance to create music from my heart for the fans that have loved and supported me from the start. I decided to call the project ‘Appreciation Day’ because that’s exactly what this album is, my show of appreciation to them.”
The album includes titles like “Blame Me,” “I Found You,” “Shower Scene,” and the first single, “Age Ain’t A Factor” which boasted the well-received message of celebrating the beauty of women at every age. The video, shot by famed photographer turned video director Derek Blanks, enlisted the help of ageless beauties: Lisa Raye, Vivica A. Fox and Cynthia Bailey of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
