Despite tweeting a few weeks ago that he was tired and fed up with the music industry, Chris Brown is not leaving the business just yet.
The 24-year-old entertainer appeared on the Today’s Show Friday morning and was interview by NBC’s Matt Lauer and Tamron Hall on the outdoor stage. When asked by Hall if there was any truth to the rumor he was leaving, Brown replied, “It’s about the music right now. I’ll continue to work for my fans.” He also admitted that he was “feeling better and just needed some rest,” after the seizure he experience earlier this month at an L.A. recording studio.
Brown also avoided questions from Laurer about his recent social media misconduct, like the recent Twitter rant he went on after he was ordered to do more community service. When asked about his messages being “on the negative side,” Brown simply replied, “Uh, that’s not my music.” Lauer continued probing but Brown spoke over him and mumbled something about “…fans.”
