The Bold And The Beautiful Executive Producer Bradley Bell has offered the show’s newcomers Lawrence Saint-Victor and Karla Mosley a spin-off web-series titled Room 8.
The CBS eight episode-comedy will be written by, produced by and will center-around Saint-Victor and Mosley. The show follows Lance [Lawrence] and Scarlett [Karla], two attractive up-and-comers who can’t stand each other, yet unknowingly rent the same apartment trying to make things work.
“This is the first time a network soap has taken a story arc and turned it into a separate series for the Internet,” said Mosley, who is writing and producing with Saint-Victor. “It’s a really exciting experiment and we’re eager to see how it’s received. The most wonderful thing about new media is that it’s new. The possibilities are endless!”
The entire series was shot in one day on the B&B soundstage using the show’s production crew.
This isn’t the first time the two actors will work together, they played opposite each other on CBS’s Guiding Light before it was canceled. Then pair then created their own web series, Wed-Locked.
ROOM 8 will premiere on August 8 at Room8TheSeries.com.
