When New York Knicks NBA baller Amar’e Stoudemire and girlfriend of ten years Alexis Welch first married at a super-secret ceremony on 12-12-12 on their rooftop NYC apartment with 12 persons in attendance, they made a commitment to their extended friends and family they’ll have a bigger summer wedding in 2013.
That commitment saw the couple wed for the second time at the Tony Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach in front of their 4 children and family. Celebrity guests at the ceremony were Stoudemire’s Knicks teammates Carmelo Anthony and Tyson Chandler, producers Timbaland, Swizz Beatz and his wife Alicia Keys.
Both Amar’e and Alexis changed twice…
For the ceremony Amar’e wore a custom white Calvin Klein Collection tuxedo which features a black satin finish shawl collar, which he styled with a white trim bow tie, and black contrast buttons dress shirt.
Bride Alexis wore a strapless shimmery champagne gold color J’Aton couture wedding gown.
Her bouquet of deep purple calla lilies, studded with pearls and crystals, matched Amar’e boutonniere.
At the reception the happy couple made a change.
Amar’e donned a bold red color Lanvin suit.
Alexis made her second change, her J’Aton gown giveaway to an Oscar de la Renta gown.
