Academy-nominated actress Taraji P. Henson is standing up for man’s best friend.
Henson is starring in a new “Be an Angel for Animals” ad campaign for PETA. The actress appears to be wearing angel wings a la a Victoria’s Secret model while holding her chain free dog, affectionately named Uncle Willie. The ad reads: “Chained dogs suffer day in and day out. They are cold, hungry, thirsty, vulnerable, and lonely. Keep them inside, where it’s safe and warm.”
The video campaign also encourages people to sponsor PETA doghouses for dogs in Southeastern Virginia and Northeastern North Carolina, where some dogs have no shelter.
