It looks like Outkast fans are finally getting their wish, a reuniting of Big Boi and Andre 3000.
Hip Hop DX is reporting that the two are coming together to record an updated version of Frank Ocean’s Pink Matter. Big Boi said last summer via Twitter that he was on board for the project but that Dre wasn’t, stating “Dre didn’t want an Outkast Record Coming out on anybody else.”
However, Dre must have had a change of heart and the two will now re-record the song. It was confirmed on Big Boi’s Tumblr page as well as Consequences of Sound.
The new version of Pink Matter is due out next week.
