It’s been a little over three months since Academy Award-nominee Michael Clarke Duncan was laid to rest after suffering a heart attack.
However, the celebrated actor left us with one last performance as a high school assistant in Robert Townsend’s In the Hive, which opened in Los Angeles this past Friday.
In the Hive also stars Loretta Devine, Vivica A. Fox, Roger Guenveur Smith and newcomer Jonathan ‘Lil J” McDaniel as the film’s central character, Xtra Keys.
Based on a true story, In the Hive tells the story of a woman who started an alternative school for troubled youth in North Carolina.
