BET is reporting that Hip Hop Superstar Jay-Z will lend his musical talents for a last minute Obama rally in the crucial battleground state of Ohio the night before election day.
Jay, who is a huge supporter and personal friend of President Obama, joins 80’s rock legend Bruce Springsteen who will also perform at an earlier event in Wisconsin. Obama has spoken very kindly of his lyrical friend and his equally famous superstar wife Beyoncé.
“I’ve gotten to know these guys over the first several years. They’re good people,” Obama said of the power couple in a recent radio interview. “Beyoncé — could not be sweeter to Michelle and the girls. So they’re good friends. We talk about the same things I talk about with all my friends.”
Springsteen, Jay-Z, the First Lady and Mr. President will later travel to Iowa for an appearance. The president will end his campaigning in Chicago where he will remain during Election Day on Tuesday, November 4.
