Reality break-out star turned-actress NeNe Leakes wants to be the next Bethenny Frankel…
Leakes chatted-it-up with the New York Post and kept it real. When asked if she wanted to get away from reality, NeNe stated, “At some point I do. I love the acting world. So at some point. . . I can’t continue to be a Housewife. At some point, I have to back out.”
NeNe recently transitioned from reality television to Hollywood with roles in Glee and The New Normal. She is filming for both shows but is actually eager to do a talk show!
Examiner.com reports, unlike Bethenny, NeNe doesn’t have a brand or a business that she can use to inspire people, but she feels that she has lots to offer her fans and she is eager to get started on her talk show. Leakes revealed that it will be just a matter of time before she is offered a talk show idea. She claims that she has already talked to producers about the idea. However, the show won’t be dramatic and it won’t be like Bethenny.
“I feel I could talk about anything. Politics, men, money, shoes … anything. I wouldn’t want to do a “Maury Povich” show. Baby daddy! Who’s your daddy? Who’s your mama? I wouldn’t want to do that kind of show…NeNe shared during her NYPost interview.
“I am here now, because I am supposed to be here. And I guess when it is my time to cross over there, I will be over there. I am not religious, but I am spiritual, honey. My day is coming…” NeNe added.
