When Live! launches its new season next month on September 4th, Michael Strahan will reportedly be named Kelly Ripa’s permanent co-host. The former NFL star-turned-television personality had been rumored to replace Regis Philbin and now Deadline reports he will be unveiled this fall.
Strahan is expected to also keep his weekend gig as an analyst on Fox NFL Sunday, making for a weekly cross-country trek between New York, where Live! tapes and Los Angeles from where the sports broadcast originates.
