Atlanta-based rapper 2 Chainz is having the “Best Week Ever!”
According to Billboard, 2 Chainz’s solo debut, Based on a T.R.U. Story is No. 1, moving 147K units and pushing the Now 43 compilation down to No. 2 which only moved 75K units.
Apparently the rising hip hop star has exceeded industry predictions who said that the album would sell between 130K and 140K units. In addition to that, his single “No Lie” featuring Drake is expected to stay at the top of the R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart.
2 Chainz tweeted this week, “Thank each and every one of you that helped me have the NUMBER 1 album n kuntry.”
