Rihanna is less than one hit record away from sharing a spot with the late Whitney Houston for most top ten records on Billboard Hot 100. Right now, Houston has 23 and Rihanna has just recently moved up to 22.
VH1.com is reporting that her latest song, “Where Have You Been” inched up from No. 11 to the No. 9 spot on the charts thus moving her closer to Houston. Rihanna is on a small list of top ten musical heavy-weights including Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey who are both tied at 27 and the material girl Madonna who is holding court with 38 top ten hits.
At the rate Rihanna is going [22 top ten hits in seven years], it won’t take her long before she is in the number one spot. Congratulations Rihanna!
