Jennifer Hudson and her fiancé David Otunga are finally opening up more about their much-anticipated wedding.
The tight lipped couple revealed recently to PEOPLE that they are “very excited” about moving forward with their nuptials now that the murder trial of Jennifer’s family is all behind them.
“That was something that was hanging over our heads for so long, and now we feel like we can finally breathe a sigh of relief, says Otunga to PEOPLE. “Everything is good now.”
The couple has also set up a foundation in honor of her slain mother, brother and nephew that will benefit children during this upcoming school year and Christmas Holiday.
As far as the wedding goes, David Jr. [who turns three years old in August] will have a role in the ceremony. Jennifer has also indicated that her ‘self-designed’ three-piece wedding gown will add dramatic flair to the ceremony because it reveals itself in layers as she makes her way down the aisle.
David on the other hand says, “My attire won’t be quite the show that hers is.”
No wedding date has been released.
