Each summer more than 2500 film fans, celebrities and Hollywood insiders gather on SouthBeach for movies, networking, seminars and panel discussions with some of the industries finest. Since 1997, the American Black Film Festival (ABFF) has provided a cinematic platform for filmmakers of color.
This year ‘Black Cinema’s Annual Retreat’ celebrates 16 years and is still going strong. The four day festival (June 20-23) presented an array of short films, music videos, documentaries, feature length films and more hard work of emerging talent that can be seen through a series of screenings.
