Award winning-celebrity hairstylist Andre Walker hosted a Mother Daughter Hair Party this past Sunday at Atlanta’s Jon’Ric Luxury Salon & Wellness Spa.
The two-hour event included a tour of the posh new salon and spa (which is located in the historic 200 Peachtree buidling) as well as light hors d’oeuvres and a Q&A session with the famed stylist and co-founder of Andre Walker Hair, Dianne Hudson.
Walker talked very candidly about his products versus other brands, rising hair trends and the “do’s and don’ts” of natural hair. The highlight of the afternoon were the kid demonstrations where Walker was able to use a few of the Gold System products like the Beautiful Kinks Styling Créme Gelee and the Quench-Essential Oil. His motto is “Make Peace With Your Hair.”
Atlanta notable in attendance included “Women on the Move” host Kim McNair, model and performer A Lady Named Pearl and Lalohni Campbell of Per se Media Group. Also on hand to take photos of Walker with his guests was noted photographer and Senior Creative Director of BadBrandingAgency, Glenford Nunez.
