My good friends over at the BronzeLens Film Festival (BLFF) teamed up with the Steve Harvey Neighborhood Awards again this year for another round of exclusive film and television screenings on Friday and Saturday. One of them was TV One’s original dramedy, “Girlfriends Getaway 2,” which is a follow up to last year’s hit, “Girlfriends Getaway.” The screening took place at the Sidney J. Marcus Auditorium of the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA.

“Girlfriends Getaway 2” reunites actresses Terri J. Vaughn, Malinda Williams, Essence Atkins and Garcelle Beauvais, as four friends who travel to Puerto Rico for one of the girlfriend’s wedding. However, chaos ensues as it did on their last trip and the ladies find themselves on another journey of a lifetime.

Vaughn along with the film’s director, Roger M. Bobb and screenwriter, Cas Siger-Beedles, all came out to preview the film before a live audience. They also took part in a post film discussion moderated by veteran Atlanta media personality, Monica Pearson. During the Q&A, the trio answered questions about everything from how to get into the film industry to screenwriting tips and and beauty secrets.
