ESSENCE Festival announces 2015 All-Star Line-Up

ESSENCE has announced its headliners for this year 2015 ESSENCE Festival. Coming to the main stage are a variety of hip-hop and R&B titans including Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige, India.Arie, Common, Trombone Shorty, Erykah Badu, Doug E. Fresh and Slick Rick.

Taking over the Super Lounges are soul music and rap artists: Bilal, Leon Bridges, Tonya Boyd-Cannon, Raheem DeVaughn, Goapele, Kindred The Family Soul, Teedra Moses, Mali Music, Mystikal, Nico+Vinz, Kelly Price, Eric Roberson, Avery*Sunshine, Tank & The Bangas, Robert Glasper, Tweet, Esperanza Spalding, Kool Moe Dee, Andra Day, SZA, Jeff Bradshaw, and Dee 1.

Special guest speakers and panelists include Lynn Whitfield, Sybrina Fulton, Anita Wilson, Shaun T, Rev. Al Sharpton, Claudia Jordan, Cynthia Bailey, Kim Burrell, and The Walls Group.

This year’s Day Party Series features FunkMaster Flex, Spinderella, Biz Markie and DJ Drama.
