Celebrity chef G. Garvin recently hosted a special culinary production titled, G. Garvin Live. The one-of-a-kind event took place at Atlanta’s historic Buckhead Theatre and brought out a number of celebrities including Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, Kandi Burruss, Todd Tucker, Phaedra Parks, Keshia Knight-Pulliam with Big Tigger, Brad James and Rodney Perry.

The event was presented in partnership with Garvin’s producing partners, Powerhouse Production and featured a full-scale, live cooking demonstration and one-man stage play. V-103 FM’s DJ Trauma was spinning while Garvin prepared six tantalizing menu courses and sharing his compelling personal journey of how food saved his life.

The New Southern Cuisine menu featured everything from Shrimp and Grits to Salmon to Potato-Shrimp Soup and Pound Cake. The tasteful delights left everyone in the packed audience wanting more.
