Atlanta’s own Shanti Das and ASCAP hosted a special “Ladies Night” edition of the popular music series that boasted a few of their best female performers including incredible vocalist, Mylah, the rising R&B sensation from Tyler Perry’s House of Payne, Demetria McKinney, and Grammy Award-winning songwriter, Crystal Nicole. Kenny Burns returned to host the show alongside DJ Trauma and the house band, Quinn and Jukebox.
There were also a few surprise performances from Da Brat, R&B Diva’s Keke Wyatt and veteran R&B crooner, Joe. The event was also attended by music producer Bryan Michael Cox, Roger Bobb of Bobbcat Films, singer Anthony David, Chef Mali Hunter – Owner of TreeSound Studios, Mona Scott-Young – CEO of Monami Entertainment – Love and Hip Hop, singer and songwriter Verse Simmonds, Chaka Zulu co-founder of Disturbing tha Peace Records, R&B Divas’ LaTavia Roberson and Meelah Williams.
