Coors Light brought its Search for the Coldest to Atlanta this weekend, hosting its second semifinals event at the new Prive Night Club. Versatile rapper and actor, Ice Cube returned this year as the celebrity host along with celebrity judges Bun B and DJ Drama.
The evening also featured a special performance from Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta star Lil Scrappy and Grammy-nominated rapper Big Sean. RC also spotted former BET personality and V-103 afternoon DJ Big Tigger as well as Shay Johnson of Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta.
The contest featured live battles between four winning MCs: Z Da Matrix from Charlotte, D Green and B Nice from Dallas along with the top Atlanta contestant Cribbs. The competing MC’s were chosen through online votes and artist showcases. Each one advanced to the Atlanta semifinals for a chance to compete for $20,000 and the title of Coldest MC at the finale in New York City, on August 1.
