Kandi Burruss has a lot going on right now!
Between her two reality shows RHOA and The Kandi Factory, her smash hit duet with Marvin Sapp, her popular internet program Kandi Coated Nights, her sex toy line and lawsuit against former cast mate Kim Zolciak, Ms. Burruss’ has no time for games.
However, she did stop by Upscale magazine for a little fun. The vivacious singer-songwriter covers next month’s issue wearing a spring inspired lace ensemble. Inside, Burruss opens up about her relationship with fiancé Todd Tucker and their future plans.
She also addresses the criticism she has received from peers about her decision for a prenuptial agreement. It’s a financial move that Burruss says is absolutely mandatory.
“I don’t see why it’s such a huge topic of conversation. Prenups should be standard. Those things should be put in place when everyone is thinking clear-minded. Why would you wait until y’all fall out? People do things to hurt the other when they’re hurt. If I was a man and made that [comment about prenups] I don’t think people would’ve even cared, probably.”
Speaking of nuptials, the two have set their wedding date for some time “early next year.” Burruss made the big announcement to E! News at the red carpet premiere of Tyler Perry’s Temptation.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
