Rapper extraordinaire Common will star alongside Danny Glover and Charles S. Dutton in a new movie this fall called LUV.
The independent film project has him playing an ex-con who takes in his 11–year old nephew, while trying to legitimize his life. The film is based on the real life story of the movie’s director, Sheldon Candis.
LUV premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival as well as screenings at the Champs-Elysees Film Fest, ABBF and LA Film Festival before it was picked up by BET.
Now the film will have a November 9th debut in theaters, courtesy of Indomina Entertainment. LUV also stars Michael Rainey Jr. and Dennis Haybert.
