It looks like “The Kidz” will live to dance another day!

FX’s groundbreaking series Pose has been renewed for a second season. The network announced the big news on Thursday via social media.

“We’ve got amazing news, #PoseFX family! Get ready to snatch more trophies and tissues because season 2 is coming!”

Set in the 1980s, Pose looks at the juxtaposition of several segments of life and society in New York: the rise of the luxury Trump-era universe, the downtown social and literary scene and the ball culture world.  The series features the largest gay and transgender cast in television history with such amazing performances by Broadway veterans Billy Porter and Charlayne Woodard alongside newcomers MJ Rodriguez, Dyllon Burnside and Indya Moore.

I have been watching this series week and after week and have fallen in love with the characters, the storylines and of course the classic music. I too can relate to the messages of hope and courage at a time when things were so uncertain and your next breath could very well be your last.  Congrats to the cast and so looking forward to seeing this story of “American” history continue to unfold.

Check out last weekend’s performance of “HOME” by Rodriguez and Porter that still has everyone talking…
