SHEEN Magazine’s Editor-In-Chief Sammi Haynes celebrated his birthday Wednesday night and yours truly was there to capture all the sights and sounds.

The party was held on the rooftop of Atlanta’s Suite Food Lounge and was attended by a number of TV personalities, tastemakers and influencers including “Sister Circle Live” co-host Quad Webb-Lunceford, “America’s Next Top” model alum Keenyah Hines and celebrity hairstylist and social media star—RazorChic of Atlanta.

The evening’s theme was “Reconnecting Family, Friends and Partnerships” and featured a live performance from gospel music sensation—Lawrence Flowers and Intercession.

SHEEN Magazine is the ultimate beauty guide for women of color and has been the prominent voice for the American beauty industry for over twelve years. The magazine is published bi-monthly and remains current on what’s happening in beauty, fashion, hair and entertainment.

Haynes has been Editor-In-Chief for over five years now and is responsible for the magazine’s hot new look and covers featuring such high profile talent as Monica, Niecy Nash, Regina HallSheryl Lee Ralph, Sherri Shepherd and most recently the co-hosts of “The Real.”  Haynes is also responsible for the magazine’s highly anticipated “Kimmie Awards” which is named after the magazine’s publisher—Kimberly Chapman—and celebrates creatives and business-oriented professionals in their perspective fields.
