The highlight of the video was Joh Kani breaking down the cultural relevance of the film and how it will change people’s perceptions of the African continent. Kani plays King T’Chaka in the movie.
“This movie will prove that we built the pyramids in Egypt! Will prove the Timbuktu libraries of the history of mankind is in Africa. Will prove that the Zimbabwe ruins were built by us. Will prove that the cradle of humankind is in Southern Africa. So this is one time whereAfrican people are shown the fullest potential, when they’re able to travel from space and back with incredible technology. We’re all Africans anyway,” said Kani boldly.
