Moonlight’s Barry Jenkins to direct Chadwick Boseman in ‘Expatriate’

DEADLINE is reporting that Oscar-winning director Barry Jenkins is teaming up with “Black Panther” star Chadwick Boseman for a new film titled, Expatriate.”

The project is being described as “an international thriller set around a 1970s plane hijacking.” Boseman penned the script along with his writing partner Logan Coles.

“Expatriate” will be produced by Adam Siegel and Marc Platt through Platt Productions and in conjunction with Mark Johnson‘s Gran Via Productions.

Boseman’s next film is “Avengers: Infinity War” and Jenkins is working on “If Beale Street Could Talk” featuring Stephan James, Colman Domingo, Teyonah Parris and Regina King.
