CONGRATS to Golden Globe Award winning actress Tracee Ellis Ross! She will be hosting this Sunday’s live telecast of the “2017 American Music Awards.” The “Black-ish” star will take the stage to preside over an evening of non-stop musical magic, where Ross’ own mother, DIANA ROSS, will receive the “American Music Award for Lifetime Achievement.” The film, fashion and music icon is also scheduled to perform and will receive her award from her other daughter—Rhonda Ross Kendrick.
“I am thrilled to host this special night which honors some of the greatest musical talents in our industry,” said Tracee Ellis Ross. “And I’m especially thrilled to host this year when my mother is receiving the American Music Award for Lifetime Achievement.”
In addition to Ross’ performance, music fans will also get to see Christina Aguilera perform a tribute to Whitney Houston and music from “The Bodyguard.” The classic film turns 25-years-old on Saturday, November 25. (Can you believe it’s been 25 years? WOW!!)
Other performers include Kelly Clarkson, Selena Gomez, Niall Horan, Imagine Dragons & Khalid, Demi Lovato and P!NK.
