CONGRATS to “Black-ish” star Tracee Ellis Ross. She has teamed up with J.C. Penney for a limited-edition holiday capsule collection. The Golden Globe-winning actress posted several images of the new line on social media with the following message:

“I’m so excited to announce that I’ve partnered with @JCPenney to create a holiday collection that I hope empowers women to embrace their joyful spirit. Each piece was imagined and designed by me,” said Ross.

Prices for the items range from $9-$75 with sizes ranging from small to 3x. They will also be available just in time for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday beginning November 12.

This is really a self-fulfilling prophesy for the Ross clan considering Tracee started her career off as a fashion model and her mother—Diana Ross—portrayed a fashion designer in the 1975 classic film, “Mahogany.” Miss Ross even took her passion for fashion a step further when she designed the costumes for the film and some of her sparkling gowns for various tours. She would later partner with “Simplicity Patterns” in the early 80s for the “Diana Ross Collection.” (Who remembers that?)
