CONGRATS to Clark Atlanta University alumni and comedic actor Justin Hires. His film project, “Homecoming” has been acquired by Tucker-Tooley Entertainment and will be produced by hip-hop star and “Power” actor and producer —50 Cent.
According to DEADLINE, “Homecoming” follows three friends in their senior year at a historically African-American college who plan to celebrate their final homecoming by trying to get in to the most exclusive house party on campus.” Hires is also slated to star as one of the film’s leads and will be executive produced for Tucker-Tooley Entertainment by Jason Barhydt.
Hires is currently starring in CBS’s reboot of the 90s series “MacGyver.” His other credits include “Stomp the Yard,” “The Gospel,” “21 Jump Street” and most recently the CBS version of “Rush Hour.” He is also an accomplished standup comedian. Filming for “Homecoming” will begin next spring in Atlanta, GA.
