R&B Superwoman Karyn White + Sister Circle’s Rashana Ali featured on #UPFRONT (AUDIO)

This morning’s #UPFRONT was an exciting one!  It featured my one-on-one interview with media maven Rashana Ali as she talked about her new daytime talk show, “The Sister Circle.” It premieres this Monday, September 18 at 9 a.m. as part of TV One’s new fall programming.

#UPFRONT also talked to Grammy-nominated singer and R&B’s original “Superwoman” Karyn White. She has a new film project, “Gale and the Storm” as well as a funk-inspired soundtrack. White also talked candidly about some of the valuable lessons she’s learned along the way and embracing change.

We also played new music from Boney James as well as throwback sounds from the late Amy Winehouse, whose birthday was this week.

#UPFRONT Inside Atlanta Entertainment Industry is a 30-minute radio magazine that features one-on-one interviews with all of the major players and behind-the-scenes superstars that make Georgia the new “Entertainment Capital.” It airs every Saturday morning at 9 a.m. on Jazz 91.9 WCLK.
