‘Black Music Honors’ salutes The Jacksons, Jody Watley, Guy & more [PHOTOS]

Check out these amazing photos from this past weekend’s “Black Music Honors” that took place at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville, TN. The ceremony featured an all-star salute to some of music’s most recognizable names including The Jacksons, Pastor Donnie McClurkin, Slick Rick, Guy, Oleta Adams and Jody Watley.

As previously reported, the “Black Music Honors” acknowledges the legendary African American artists who have influenced and made significant musical contributions to African American culture and American music worldwide.

This year’s show included soul-stirring performances from Avery*SunshineDave Hollister, Jonathan ButlerKaren Clark Sheard, Kid N Play, Latice Crawford, Leela James, Marvin Winans, SWV, Da Brat, Sevyn Streeter and more.

Rickey Smiley, television and radio personality and Grammy Award-winner and actress LeToya Luckett, co-hosted the show which is set to air on Bounce TV, Tuesday, October 10, at 7 p.m.
