I had the pleasure of capturing Beyoncé‘s hairstylist Neal Farinah in action on Sunday afternoon during Atlanta’s Bronner Bros. International Beauty Show. Farinah participated in a Celebrity Makeover for breast cancer survivor, Beth “Sprinkles” Goodman. The surprise was very well-deserved and Goodman was “over the moon” with her stunning new tresses.

Farinah, a 2016 Bronner Bros. honoree, was part of the show’s “A BAD HAIR DAY is Better Than a NO HAIR Day” Partnership with Lyrical Hair’s Ella Gant Brand and JCPenney Cares. The Bronner Bros. made a donation to the American Cancer Society, benefiting cancer survivors who are battling hair loss due to the negative side effects of chemotheraphy.  The contribution included 500 new wigs and 500 gift cards with a total retail value of $30,000.

Bey’s other stylist—Raquel Smith—was also in attendance along with Lyrical Hair’s Tim Starks and Bronner Bros International Beauty Show director, James Bronner.

Farinah is a hair industry staple and has provided iconic looks for the biggest names in music including the Queen Bee as well as Nicki Minaj and Mary J. Blige.
