The love of my life—Janet Jackson—announced on Monday evening that she will be returning to the world stage beginning September 7, 2017 in a brand new tour. The Grammy winning superstar and new mommy opened her video message to fans by “keeping it real” about her divorce from husband, Wissam Al Mana.
“Yes! I separated from my husband. We are in court and the rest is in God’s hands.”
She later confirmed that she will be hitting the road this fall in the “State of the World” Tour, which is inspired by track #4 from her iconic Rhythm Nation album. But hold up! The tour is not about socio-political issues. This time, Jackson is going to focus on “people, the world, relationships and love.”
“I’m continuing my tour as I promised. I’m so excited you guys, so excited. I decided to change the name of the tour… State of the World tour! It’s not about politics. It’s about people, the world, relationships, and just love.”
