Maxwell, Mary J. Blige and more added to VH1’s ‘Dear Mama’

R&B crooner Maxwell will join Kelly Rowland, DJ Khaled and Robin Thicke for VH1’s Mother’s Day Show, “Dear Mama.” According to the VH1 press release, the “Sumthin, Sumthin” singer will be appearing on the show along with the Queen of Hip  Hop Soul, Mary J. Blige and Atlanta’s own—Christopher “Ludacris” Bridges.

“Dear Mama: An Event To Honor Moms” recognizes mothers with celebrity guests paying tribute to the women who have shaped their success. This year’s event will take place at the famed Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens in Pasadena, CA and is being hosted by “black-ish” star and Golden Globe nominee Anthony Anderson and “Power” actress La La Anthony.

“Dear Mama” airs this Monday, May 8 at 10 p.m. EST.
