Pop music star Jason Derulo has switched up his new hit, “Swalla” ft. Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign by turning the uptempo, Haitian Kompa-influenced track into a sexy slow grind with “Swalla” (After Dark), available at all online retailers now.

The Fader  debuted the new version today as Derulo looks ahead to a special moment with ABC’s “Good Morning America” on Monday, May 15 and two appearances on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” – interview on Tuesday, May 16 and performance on Monday, June 19. Derulo is also confirmed for ABC’s Good Morning America Summer Concert Series, for the 5th year in a row, for the closeout performance on September 1st.

The original version of “Swalla,” which MTV.com dubbed a “steamy number…that would feel right at home on the floor of a beach club in the Caribbean,” has over 165 million YouTube Views to date and 200 million audio streams. The song is also an international hit, sitting in the Top 10 and rising on the Global Spotify Charts and has already been certified Gold in Australia, Canada, Germany, Italy and Finland and certified Platinum the Netherlands and Sweden.
