Ladies and Gentlemen meet Zimzon Lelo!  He is a Swedish actor, model and international fitness trainer who is determined to make himself a household name in the United States. He has appeared in numerous magazines and currently stars as “Delta” on the Swedish version of “Gladiators.”

I had the pleasure of meeting him last month during the BronzeLens screening of Nefertite Nguvu‘s “In The Morning.”  The former British football player turned actor was only in Atlanta for a few weeks and had already booked a gig as the irresistible “Clay Robinson” in the pilot for a new web series titled, “The Hott Project.”

“The Hott Project is about three successful sisters living in Atlanta. One in particular is the senior editor of a magazine and I am her love interest,” said Zimzon during our phone interview.  “I am the guy that comes in and out of her life and basically gets her to lose her mind every time I show up because she can’t really figure me out. I also a mysterious guy who is very demanding.”

Check out the rest of our interview where we talk fashion, film & Naomi Campbell:

1. What is the last book you read?

The last book I read was The 50th Law by 50 Cent.

2. What is your “must have” fashion item?

A custom-made bracelet from LavishBlanc.com

3. Who are you listening to in your iPod?

At the moment, I am listening to WALE’s new album, SHINE.  WALE is a lyrically saavy hip hop artist. I like his content and the fact that he’s from Africa and of Nigerian descent adds to the support factor. I like to support my African brothers and I just believe that he is not getting the respect and props that he is due.

4. Who is your celebrity crush?

SANAA LATHAN! I’ve loved her ever since I first saw her in “Love & Basketball.” She oozes grace, class and confidence. The thing I gravitate to the most about her is that smile.  I don’t know what I would do if I saw her in person. I heard I am her type too. (LOL)

5. What’s your favorite U.S. city?

Atlanta! I love that the people are very appreciative and supportive. I am also getting a lot of love here too. I can’t complain.

6. What is your dream role?

I have several. However, the one role I would have loved to have been cast in was the new Black Panther movie. I love Marvel and would love to play a Black superhero.

7. Favorite African Fashion Designer?

I would have to go with Mr. Ozwald Boateng. He is known internationally and is based out of London.

8. Naomi Campbell or Alek Wek?

Aww man!  Now, you’re putting me on the spot. Both women are gorgeous but Naomi is a legend. It has to be NAOMI!
