Nothing and I mean nothing says Easter Sunday like a good ole’ rendition of “Amazing Grace.” Check out the multi-talented Loretta Devine performing the classic tune from “The Lost Souls Café.” The theatrical television production airs tonight at 6 p.m. EST on TV One.
As previously reported, “The Lost Souls Café” stars Devine as a former ‘70s songstress Geneva Branch who is the proprietor of a restaurant lounge specializing in live soul music for the upscale, affluent crowd. When Branch learns that her nephew Taylor’s (Christian Keyes/Saints & Sinners) gambling problem has put the restaurant in jeopardy, she is nearly undone. Determined to make things right, Taylor tries to find a way to save the business.
Rounding out the cast is Kiki Haynes (For Better or Worse), Ernest L. Thomas (What’s Happening!!), Todd Anthony (Stock Option), Crystal P. Bazemore (Diary Of A Mad Black Woman) and Malika Blessing (The Perfect Man). Additionally, the show features a special appearance by R&B crooner MAJOR. performing his hit single, “Why I Love You.”
“The Lost Souls Café” airs TONIGHT at 6 p.m. on TV One.
