For nearly 30 years, actress, producer, reality star and beauty entrepreneur Vivica A. Fox has entertained audiences from around the world with her modelesque features and #BlackGirlMagic long before it became a pop culture phrase.

The iconic star, who is best known for such films as “Independence Day,” “Set It Off,” “Soul Food” and “Kill Bill,” was honored as the “Women of the Year” by Sheen Magazine Saturday night during their Legendary Black Tie Gala and Kimmie Awards. The invitation only event took place at the beautiful Marriott Marquis in downtown Atlanta and was attended by a bevy of celebrities and beauty industry influencers.

Fox literally shut down the red carpet down in her stunning Black dress while taking pictures with her family as well as other honorees, presenters and Sheen Magazine Publisher—Kimberly Chapman.

The Legendary Awards is one of Sheen’s landmark events that recognizes talented individuals for their outstanding contributions to hair & beauty, business, law and entertainment.

Other 2017 honorees included President and CEO of Bronner Bros. Bernard Bronner along with his brother and Senior VP of Trade Show Operations and Director of Technology, James Bronner for 70 years of entrepreneurial leadership in hair, fashion and beauty. New York Times Best Selling Book Author Zane recieved the Literary Artistry Award and Vice President of Writer/Publisher Relations at Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI) Catherine Brewton was saluted for the indelible mark she’s made in the world of music and the arts.
