VH1 is adding more star power to this year’s “Dear Mama” Mother’s Day Show. The network announced this week that DJ Khaled, Kelly Rowland and Robin Thicke are slated to appear on the television special which will air on Monday, May 8 at 10 p.m. EST.
According to a VH1 press release, Khaled will honor his fiancé, Nicole Tuck and Thicke will honor his mother, the legendary Gloria Loring. It didn’t really specify what Rowland would be doing but I would imagine it may have something to do with her recent book, Whoa Baby!
As previously reported, “Dear Mama: An Event To Honor Moms” recognizes mothers with celebrity guests paying tribute to the women who have shaped their success. This year’s event will take place at the famed Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens in Pasadena, California. It is also being hosted once again by “black-ish” star and Golden Globe nominee Anthony Anderson along with “Power” actress and NYT best-selling author La La Anthony.
