It’s not often that we hear songwriters get behind the microphone and actually perform their own music. Their melodies are usually penned for some unknown vocalist hoping to score their first hit. But when these uberly talented poets do sing their own songs, it’s usually magic to our ears and we often find ourselves asking, “Where have you been?”

Well, that is exactly what Grammy winning music producer Bryan-Michael Cox is doing with his new song, “One Day.”  The Atlanta-based musician has teamed up with Grammy winning jazz pianist Robert Glasper for a tune that encourages everyone to set aside time for that special someone and find balance in their relationships before they look up one day and find “bae” in the arms of another.
