“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Sheree Whitfield will take center stage at this years’s “Cocktails & Conversations” presented by The African Americans on the Move Bookclub (AAMBC). The signature event takes place on Friday, February 3 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Atlanta’s historic Auburn Avenue Research Library and will feature Whifield and her new book, Wives, Fiancées, and Side-Chicks of Hotlanta.
Attendees will get an opportunity to dig deeper into Sheree’s journey during a Q&A session, followed by a book signing. The event will also feature “L.A. Hair” star and celebrity hairstlist Gocha Hawkins + motivational speaker and actor DJ Fadelf, who most recently appeared on BET’s “Being Mary Jane” (We see you Fadelf !)
The African Americans on the Move Book Club was created in February 2008 by Tamika Newhouse. What started as an online book club grew into a national phenomenon. The sole purpose was to expose the unknown writer and to give them the opportunity to win accolades.
