NBA star turned actor Rick Fox will be appearing in the second season of OWN’s hit series “Greenleaf.” According to the press release Fox will have a recurring role as “Darius,” a handsome reporter covering the latest round of scandals at Calvary Fellowship World Ministries, with a liking to sandbagging high church officials in the parking lot, hoping to pressure them into blurting out something memorable.
According to Nielsen, “Greenleaf” was the summer’s #1 new cable series among women and total viewers and the summer’s #1 new series on all of TV across all key African-American demos.
Ulrich Alexander “Rick” Fox is a film and television actor, businessman, retired basketball player, and E-Sports franchise owner. He played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers, and played college basketball for the North Carolina Tar Heels where his highlights included leading the Tar Heels to the 1991 NCAA Final Four. His film and television credits include “Blue Chips,” “Eddie,” “He Got Game,” “HBO’s Oz,” Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns” “VH1’s Hit the Floor” and most recently in “Dope.”
