Singer and actress Deborah Joy Winans made a surprise visit this weekend in Atlanta in honor of the season one Blu-Ray/DVD release of her hit OWN series “Greenleaf.”
The party took place at The Gocha Salon in Midtown and featured “Greenleaf” inspired treats, discounted beauty products and salon services. Atlanta’s Gospel Station, Praise 102.5 was also on hand to help celebrate and gave away prize packs to all attendees.
Winans plays “Charity Greenleaf-Satterlee” on the show and is currently in town taping the second season. She most recently starred as her aunt CeCe Winans in the Alliance Theatre production of “Born For This: The BeBe Winans Story” opposite her brother Juan Winans.
