“Insecure” is a 30-minute comedy that airs on Sunday evenings at 10:30 p.m. and focuses on “awkward experiences and racy tribulations of a modern day African-American woman living in Los Angeles.” It is loosely-based on Rae’s hugely popular web series, “The Misadventures of an Awkward Black Girl” and stars Yvonne Orji, Jay Ellis, Lisa Joyce, Neil Brown Jr. and Sujata Day.
